The area around this hotel is full of non - Italians who are a bit rough looking living in not nice area. I could hardly sleep, noises from corridor was heard clearly inside my room. Staffs are nice people.

We booked Osimar as a last minute replacement as our other hotel had cancelled a few days before we travelled. And we are so happy that they did cancel! From the second we got there we loved everything about the hotel. The staff on check in were brilliant and gave us a tour of the hotel and where everything was located. They gave us a map of the city and a few refreshments to put in our fridge. The room was immaculate and perfect for a city break. The bed was comfortable and tv great if you wanted to watch a few films in between sight seeing. They even change your mattress everyday! The aircon was a life saver as it was 38 degrees. Our favourite feature is the old lift, it’s so quirky and we loved using it for getting up to our room. The breakfast was perfect, a good selection of pastries, meats and juices. The only downside is the distance from the city center but the nearest metro station is a 10 minute scooter ride or 20 min walk so nothing too bad. Overall it’s a fantastic hotel and I would tell anyone going to Rome for a sight seeing holiday to stay here! Grazie Hotel Osimar!

Very nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great rooms and tastefully breakfast. The price - quality level is in balance. Great hotel for a good price. The hotel is in a quite area outside the city center but bus connection at the end of the street. With a bus ticket of 1,60 euro you are within 20 minutes in the center of Rome were you can find hop on hop of tours etc.. We can recommend this hotel for your stay in Rome.

My & my son have just returned from a 2 night stay at Osimar. I was nervous after reading some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and we requested twin beds which were provided, the staff were lovely and really helpful when we asked questions about where to eat, how to travel etc I really cannot fault the place and I dont understand where previous bad reviews have came from? We were greeted with friendly faces and given all the information we needed straight away. The shower had hot water and the whole place was clean and well presented. We are planning to come back to Rome as my son adores the place and Osimar will be our first choice. Perfect location for local culture and close enough to the metro for the city centre. Will be back :)

The room was clean, tidy and had all the basics plus good WiFi and a smart TV. The beds were lush, and looked better than in my picture which was taken after I messed it up! It's close to the local bus routes (literally a 2 minute walk) you can get bus passes from reception and the staff were lovely and attentive. We didn't get the breakfast option but the coffee was good. There's 2 shops within a 2 minute walking distance open late with all the basics for what you need. We were terrified after reading 2 recent reviews about the cleanliness and location but we were massively surprised. The public transport in Rome is easy to use and really cheap, 7 euros for a day pass that covers trams, buses and the metro unlimited! We drunk cheap wine from the local shop and went sight seeing on local Transport an have had the best few days. Oh and the hair dryer was fab!
